Dear {FIRST_NAME},

The Almond Community Policing Team (CPT) have recently been given access to the Neighbourhood Alert System and thought this would be a good opportunity to introduce ourselves (for those of you who don't know us!).

If you are receiving this message, you fall into the Almond Ward which is covered by 4 local community police officers working from South Queensferry Police Station

PC Euan Sinclair

PC Donald 'DJ' Macleod

PC Timothy Mitchell (Corstorphine based)

PC Rebecca O'Reilly (Community Team and School Link officer for Queensferry High School)

Our team consists of officers with a breadth of experience in a variety of roles and we are keen to better understand the issues which are affecting you and your area.

We are acutely aware of the issues around vehicular antisocial behaviour, particularly in South Queensferry and the surrounding areas, however we are also keen to obtain more comprehensive overview of issues around the illegal use of electric and conventional motorcycles across the area, particularly about who is riding them and where they are being stored.

This information can be passed to the police anonymously via Crime Stoppers (link below)

Or, if you would prefer to get in touch directly, we can be reached via ‘101’ or on our email address at

Please note, Neighbourhood Alert and the above email address are not monitored 24/7 and should not be used for reporting crime.

Where you need to report criminality or need urgent police assistance, please contact ‘101’ or '999' to ensure your call can be triaged and responded to appropriately.

Best Regards

PC Euan, DJ, Tim and Becky
