You have days when something just stops you in your tracks and make you reflect. Visiting the poignant Knife Angel in Edinburgh is always a moving experience. Speaking with Lisa Petrie, mum of murdered John McNab, humanises the devastating impact of violence. Community safety cannot be created by one person or organisation alone, it takes a whole community working together. Every one of us has something to offer, whether through listening, supporting, educating, speaking up or simply looking out for each other. WE can make the difference, creating hope through empathy and preventing other families going through this trauma. Thanks Home – Police Scotland Edinburgh, Lisa Petrie & Pauline Nicol-Bowie.
